Anthony Parks is a doctoral candidate in Architectural Acoustics at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. His primary research interests are in the field of psychoacoustics — the scientific study of the perception of sound. In particular, he is interested in the cognitive modeling of perceived spatial impression in concert halls and opera houses, and more generally computational auditory scene analysis, perceptual models, and room acoustics.
