Anthony Parks is a doctoral candidate in Architectural Acoustics at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. His primary research interests are in the field of psychoacoustics — the scientific study of the perception of sound — along with many other interests at the interface of the disciplinary boundaries among physics, musicology and psychology. Anthony is most interested in spatial hearing, computational auditory scene analysis, architectural acoustics, product sound quality, emotion and music, the psychology of creativity, and performance studies.
